I am able to effectively teach a group of kids, and I am also comfortable with the one on one teaching style. Regardless of the environment, I know how to make sure the needs of every student is met.
I have always had the ability to effectively teach my family, peers, and other classmates. However, I recently decided to get into the field of tutoring. My very first session, I fell in love with it. I am understanding that each student has different needs, different strengths and weaknesses. In reality, I have been tutoring almost since I could read or write. The first tutoring job I held was in elementary school. After graduating from elementary school, I did my first two years of secondary education via home-school and stayed at our small, two-room elementary school in order to help the younger students. During my senior year of academy, I served as a Resident Assistant and Dormitory Tutor.
