My comments on tutoring SAT - Verbal : I have excellent strategies for interpreting and analyzing reading passages, building vocabulary, and teaching sentence structure (for sentence completion). I also did quite well on the Verbal portion of the SAT, so my methods are tried and tested!

I am a patient and understanding teacher. I enjoy fostering close relationships with my students so that I can cultivate my methods to best suit their learning style.
I have a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and have two years experience writing for the Daily Tar Heel.
