I tutor based on the individual's learning needs. I have encountered some that were visual learners ad everything had to be drawn/written out. I have also tutored students that can have me explain it and they grasp it easily. My teaching style changes according to the needs of the student because not every one learns the same. I do believe Accounting is a complex field and the student has to have an interest in the field to truly be successful in retaining what they are taught.
While earning my Masters in Accounting, I voluntarily tutored Undergrad students that were earning their Associates or Bachelors in Accounting. The students were enrolled in the local community college (Central Carolina Tech) as well as the University of South Carolina. I have earned an Associates, Bachelors, and Masters which all have concentration in Accounting.

A Little Bit About Me...

In my 2nd year of teaching, I have enjoyed the experiences that have came my way due to my students. I enjoy going to work daily and leave almost everyday with a sense of gratification because of the accomplishments I help my students achieve. I currently teach 4th grade and feel this grade level has helped me fine tune my writing skills due to the demanding pressure placed on my students to pass the 4th grade writing test. I taught two quarters at Tiffin University, East Cleveland, Ohio campus a course called "Legal Issues for Managers." I was requested to teach a course via computer, but declined since I was moving to Charrlotte, NC. (2007-2008) Prior to teaching at Tiffin University, I taught at the Academy of Court Reporting in Cleveland. I taught accounting, real estate law, office management and bankruptcy.(2004-2005)
