I developed my passion for teaching others from a a pre-college program I was in called Upward Bound. I learned study skills, time management and other skills that helped me excel in college. After college graduation,i obtained a tutoring position with the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.I served as a mentor as well guiding them through the difficulties of high school and applying for college and financial aid. A Little Bit About Me...

I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I taught a few Science classes including botony and a study of birds and have tutored in highschool math as well. I played volleyball, took 3 years of piano, and was a member of Chior as well. I worked as a teachers aide in a preschool for 2 years. I worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years. I plan on going to college for either business or diognostic sonography.
I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I believe its the teachers responsibllity to understand how their students learn best and then help communicate the curriculum to them in a way that they will best uderstand and retain that knowledge.
