A Little Bit About Me...

I love to be around children. There is no surprise I recently opened a toy store focused on classic and educational toys. I am passionate about teaching children and how to make a difference in their lives. I strongly believe that if a child can experience for him or herself how the skills he or she learns apply in real life, then it becomes an easier, and more successful experience. I will push for a dynamic and interactive class. The lesson needs to be constructive. I always give examples, and engage the child or children to practice the skill in a specific setting like role play. I love to work with children of all ages and genders. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities as well as children of all ages, races, and genders. I attempt to make learning as fun and relevant to the child as possible as every child has varying levels of understanding and concentrations. I am extremely patient and can handle anything. I like to relate learning to childrens' lives (make it about basketball if the boy likes basketball, or about chocolate if the girl likes chocolate).
