After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English, I married and worked at support jobs while helping to raise our two children. Upon finding myself a single parent, I decided to return to school and pursue my passion for learning and working with children by obtaining my Masters in Special Education. I have since had the opportunity to work with general education students while teaching Middle School English.. From there I have worked with alternative, at-risk students, emotionally disturbed students and physically disabled students. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated in 2007 from the University of Arkanas with a degree in Political Science. Currently I am a legislative analyst for the state of Arkansas and work daily with legislators to pass legislation. I also have experience teaching conversational English as a Second Language overseas to Chinese English-teachers. My strengths are writing research papers and essays. I have extensive experience with government and any social sciences.
I really enjoy helping children and teenagers discover new things through education. I am the oldest of five children and I have helped my siblings in practically every subject area over the last 10 years. I am a very patient because I know that everyone has different learning styles. Once a child's learning method is identified, he or she will really start to meet their potential.
