While attending Claflin University in the pursuit of obtaining duel BA's in the field of journalism and sociology, my off times was spent in the middle schools of Orangeburg, SC for nearly six years. I spent 4-5 hours in the classroom (daily) as an assistant and tutor/mentor in language arts classes grades 6-8. I have a passion for science and learning. I love to take my passion and pass it on to my children. My method of teaching is to take difficult concepts and break them down into something that is understandable. I will not quit until I feel that the children have a good grasp of the material. I know that children have different ways of learning the material. I like to incorporate visual, hands on, and auditory into all of my lessons.
