I love teaching and have wanted to be a teacher from a very young age. Each student is different in how they learn the material needed for class and I find it to be very important to teach the student in the method that works best for them. I have been teaching for 25 years. Most of my teaching was in religious settings working with teens, but I have also tutored younger children with school studies in after school programs and I have taught Microsoft Office, Keyboarding and Business classes in an accredited adult learning center. In teaching/tutoring, I have an ongoing teacher-student conversation that resembles a programmed unit. I talk mathematics from a tutor's point of view and expect the student to fill in the blanks in a way such that I've set him/her up. What it does is keep the student's attention since they've to answer my questions and "fill in my blanks".
