I also strive to accomplish this goal in such a manner that the student experiences the fun that is a part of learning, but one that also emphasizes the importance of the learning process as well. In all of my tutoring and teaching experiences, I communicate how critical good study habits are: self-discipline; finding a quiet place to study; punctuality; attention to detail; following the rules; etc.
As a person who holds both a BA and MA in English, each with concentrations in writing (creative and technical, respectively), I am qualified to, and have for several years, tutored English language studies skills, including composition, grammar, punctuation, and reading comprehesion, to students from the third grade through college.
