Being a native Russian speaker, I attended Moscow State University (where I studied psychology and Russian) after graduating from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, and have extensive tutoring experience spanning over 20 years. In addition to that, I was the CEO of a book store and learning center in Russia which had publishing connections worldwide and provided tutoring services to students of all ages and backgrounds. Upon moving to America, I became a language and culture instructor at the US State Department's Foreign Service Institute, where I taught diplomats and government officials under major time constraints and pressures. Lastly, I work at a Russian Saturday school teaching elementary school aged children the Russian language.

My passion for teaching Russian began at a young age but developed into something much greater with time! I like to use a lot of oral speaking to learn as well as worksheets to help students to see as they learn as well.
I have lived in Russia over the past two years and have learned Russian. I was able to learn from simply speaking with Russian natives as well as studying an hour a day. I was able to help friends that moved to Russia become proficient in Russian when they came knowing minimal to no Russian at all. I've been been tutoring and teaching Russian, Math and other subjects as long as I can remember myself (and I've been around for a while). I received all my formal education in Russia (Bachelor degree in engineering), and continued to educate myself in the US. I am teaching art now, and I love doing this, but something is missing, so I would love to go back into teaching Russian also.
I am a creative person, but I love structure and logic approach also, so my teaching style is a blend of creativity and logic.
