I have worked with students that had ADD, ADHD and vision impaired. We worked on projects, taking notes, worksheets and also test reviews. The subjects that I worked in was IPC (9th grade students), Geography, Biology and Enviromental Science. I have also worked with 4th and 5th grade students in the subjects of Science and Math.

While tutoring, I try to find a way to help the student learn by finding a style that fits their personality; therefore, I do not have a preferred teaching style. I have volunteered in a school district for just over 3 years and when I do volunteer I assist children in the classroom who have problems in their reading and math. By assisting these students they have improved on their tests as well as gaining confidence in their learning. I work really well one on one with the child who needs such assistance but also in small groups. If needed to assist a child online it can be done as long as there are materials available for the child that is provided by the school.
