I am very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in education hence my participation this far in the No Child Left Behind program tutoring as an independent contractor. I earned my bachelor degrees, BS in Business Administration Liberal Arts style which enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I am pursuing a Master's in Business Administration that is keeping my robust math and grammatical skills up-to-date.
I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I have been a substitute teacher for the last 7 years at Groesbeck ISD working mainly with the high school area, and some at the middle school. I also teach an adult student at a local plant working on his GED. I am the primary instructor there. I write for several online freelance article sites and am paid to do that as well. I have passed my EC-12 Special Education test and also my Generalist 4-8 and am considered Highly Qualified in those 2 areas. I have to apply for my probationary certificate and lack the student internship area to complete my certification. I would do that upon getting a full-time teaching position.
