I have been tutoring mathematics in the Cincinnati area since 1997. I have worked with students ranging from elementary school through college level. From 2010-2014, I taught math and science full time at a local Catholic school. In Fall of 2014, I completed my student teaching at a local high school. In January 2015,I received my MA in Math Education along with my state teaching certification. i am not a stranger to math, and i recieved a B or higher in any mth course i have taken. I HAVE TAKEN HIGH SCHOOL algebra 1,2,3 and pre-calculus. At University of Cincinnati, despite being a full-time graduate student, I was serving at the Math Learning Center for nine hours as a tutor and a grader for three classes. I tutored Calculus, Method Matrixes, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. Undergraduate students always showed up to get a solution for their homework. I was always telling them I am not going to give you just a correct final answer but I’ll teach you a way to solve problems. I currently am a senior at the University of Cincinnati studying Computer Science. Before my freshman year I was a part of the summer bridge program as a part of Emerging Ethnic Engineers through which community service plays a large pay role. Each summer during my college career I would assist the incoming summer bridge students with their studies which include a rigorous math and science curriculum.
