After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Business Management/Marketing, I set out for Milan, Italy and immediately found work teaching English and Business English there. My comments on tutoring English : I received a BA in English from The College of New Jersey, and afterwards worked for several years as a freelance contributor to a number of newspapers (especially Pioneer Press, a network of Chicago-area community papers) and magazines (especially Hybrid Magazine, an online music publication).

I believe in teaching in a relaxed and positive atmosphere that supports students' growth. Chess and writing/reading/English improvement are my primary objectives, and I believe strongly that improvement happens when the learning process is FUN. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelors in English from Dominican University. I began A Plus Master Tutoring Center over 4 years ago and was teaching in my home. Now we have expanded to a center in Oak Park and we tutor all ages, from Pre-K to adults. Our subjects range from phonics to algebra.
