A Little Bit About Me...

As a tutor with Webster University's student literacy corps, I worked with individuals, pre-K-adult, on reading, literacy, and writing skills. I held this position for two years along with a summer position tutoring Algebra and French with HEC Upward Bound, which service at-risk youth. I found both programs extremely enjoyable and found that all of my students were eager to learn and improve their skill set.
It has been my experience that each student has his/her individuals needs and that each learns differently. Thus, I make a conscious effort to sit down privately with each of my students so that we can address his/her concerns effectively and put together a constructive plan to improve his/her skill set.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a successful business woman who has taught for the last 15 years. What makes me successful as a teacher or tudor lies in the fact that I bring concrete proof to the student on what they need to learn. I motivate them to getting through on this study. Although students don't typically like math and accounting I tell them this is a means to an end. So to the parents, I choose to teach and tutor, this means I love motivating the student at all ages. I am quite fond of children and their amazing desire and ability to learn. I think that education is one of the most important aspect of a child's upbringing and any contribution that I can make would be very gratifying. I think children differ in their learning styles and I am flexible to work with children who are visual learners through diagrams, colors and charts, or with children who are learn through memorization and application.
