Throughout my education at Alfred State University I truly believe I began to understand and appreciate others and their differences. I received my second degree from Cortland State University in Early Childhood Education with Inclusion. I had the opportunity to work with many different types of children. In my experience, most students learn best by practicing the material and get bored listening to long lectures. However, as I learned from students and from a college tutoring course, all students have different styles of learning and I tailor my teaching to their needs. I want all of my students to experience that moment when everything just "clicks" and they have the confidence to go on learning and reach their high potentials.
