2013 French major graduate looking for tutoring job!

I just received a Bachelor's Degree in French and International Studies from Stonehill College in MA. I am willing to tutor any age and skill level, especially in French. I also studied in France for 6 weeks last summer and received straight A's in all my classes; I speak French fluently after living with a host family.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Minor in Mathematics, I accepted a position with Xerox Corporation as an entry-level programmer. During my employment at Xerox, I successfully completed my Master of Science degree and continued to advance in the engineering field. My eight-year career at Xerox gave me invaluable experience in the computer industry field. A Little Bit About Me...

Currently, I am a systems engineering graduate student at Penn State University. I have earned a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from SUNY Oswego with minors in applied statistics and philosophy. My last position was as an academic mentor and tutor for AmeriCorps. I have one year of tutoring experience at Hannibal High School in Hannibal, New York. I tutored students in subjects including mathematics, science and history.
I try to relate to the children as best as I can and make the learning fun for them whenever possible. I am easy going, polite and helpful. I also talk to them about other things besides homework and studying, such as personal problems. My students trust me and this makes it easier for me to help them and to teach them. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching for 21 years now (wow, that's gone by fast!) and I love every second of what I do. I have also been a tutor in the district for the past 9 years, tutoring every subject possible--math, English, Social Studies, etc. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to get to know students who don't take French and also I love to teach other subjects outside my own area.
