A Little Bit About Me...

I have many and varied experiences in teaching music in the public schools and privately for over 30 years. I have my bachelors degree in music education-k-12 and I have almost finished my Master's degree in Music Education. My teaching experience includes classroom, vocal-choral, piano and band. During my years teaching in the public school system, I volunteered often for after-school activities organized in order to tutor the students in math, science, english, etc. I have also been a substitute teacher and have experience teaching several subjects which also included special education and emotional behavioral disabled children. I graduated with 2 bachelor of Science degrees, Biology and Chemistry. I have also completed Mathematics as a minor. I have tutored when I was in College for about 3 years. I tutored students in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I was also a peer advisor creating and presenting academic programs to first year students helping them choose a major and plan their four-year schedule. I am also currently an online tutor for brainfuse.com (reading, English, Maths and science elementary-12).
