In terms of online tutoring. I make use of a headset microphone and a touch tablet. As well as many free online applications, such as a whiteboard, Skype, and educational resources. During session I prefer to use the course work and text assigned to the student. Doing so allows for the structure of our sessions to easily mesh with those of the course. While obtaining my B.S. I tutored through a community development after school program for a year; in which I helped 4th-8th graders with their math and reading homework. For the past 3 years I have worked as a private math and science tutor helping student from 5th grade up through college level. In the Spring of 2011&2012 I worked as an in-school tutor bringing elementary school students up to grade level in math and reading. These past 2 years, I worked online as a Math, and English tutor through various services.

This might be the course I have the most fun with! I started tutoring in high school for extra credit. I have primarily tutored in mathematics and general chemistry!
