Volunteer at my church in the children's ministry and love changing those kids lives for the better. I tutor my ten year old brother when he needs the help and he actually listens to me and helps him understand his work better. I have a passion for kids and believe they will all succeed. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been very enthusiastic about learning and always find myself helping others to discover a deeper understanding of a subject. During my time tutoring math, I discovered that there is a necessary balance to allow the student time to process the material without allowing them to get frustrated and giving up. After obtaining a BA in Business Ad, becoming a CPA, and working ten years as an accountant/auditor, I focused my skills towards teaching. In conclusion, I think that I can still be successful in teaching. I however, need to find what area that I can be most successful at. I think that with my non-traditional training and experience, that a similar position would give me the opportunity to be most successful. One thing that I have thought a great deal about these past few weeks, is that I am entering middle age and must be a success at something. In the past, I have found the most enjoyment and fulfillment working with special needs and incarcerated students.
