I also worked for the Athletic department as a student-athlete tutor. My degrees are in Accounting and Management, which provided significant coursework in accounting, management, and other areas of business. I have tutored Accounting, Economics, General Business, College Algebra, and other general education areas. I also worked for two years as a professional accountant and am a Certified Public Accountant.
I enjoy teaching business areas and math -- the subjects were fascinating to learn and are still a joy to explore with students. I don't believe in an unteachable student. One of the greatest pleasures I have in teaching is having a breakthrough with a student that has had difficulty. I believe every student has the possibility to meet and exceed expectations with the right teacher! I believe that not every student is the same. The solution and teaching style that works well with one student may not work at all for another. Additionally, not every student learns things at the same rate. I believe in taking as much time as is necessary to help a student achieve the fantastic results they deserve.
