With a BS in Architecture I have a strong background in math and science and I have always had a strong determination to excel in my education. Also while pursuing my degree I served as a teacher's assistant for multiple courses in my discipline. I also was a department tutor for three of my four years in college and I often worked with individuals or groups with various subjects that they were struggling with. My background includes teaching at the elementary level and at the adult education level, especially literacy. I spent 10 years directing an adult literacy program where I trained volunteers to be tutors and tutored myself. During that time I took an intensive training course on working with people with learning disabilities. I have worked with ESOL students, as well.
