Originally I am from Albania. I graduated from Molecular Biology and Genetics department of the prestigious Bosphorus University in Istanbul, Turkey. Established in 1863, formerly known as Robert College, it was the first American Educational Institution outside the borders of USA. Later I worked for two years at the Natural History Museum in London, UK. After that, for one year I was a researcher at the Molecular Systematics laboratory at Integrative Biology Department in Brigham Young University, in Provo, UT. Critical thinking skills and untraditional ways are what I focus on. However the way someone learns, I will try to set the individual up to show how they learn and work with them. Recently Retired Female Engineer

I would classify my tutoring style as "old school." Ladies and gentlemen, the best way to learn a problem-based subject such as math or chemistry is to solve problems; there are no short cuts.
I am a recently retired engineer. I spent last summer working in a City of Detroit grade school as a tutor. About ten years ago I taught Environmental Science classes at Wayne State as an adjunct faculty. This is the only official experience I have had teaching/tutoring; however during my academic career I frequently explained course material to fellow students and to study partners. During the 30 years I worked as a Chemist and as an Engineer I was frequently asked to explain technical information to a lay audience since I seemed to have a knack for doing just that.
