My comments on tutoring Microsoft Access : I have used Microsoft Access for years. I just became MASTER Certified in Microsoft Access 2010.

I have a patient teaching style. It does not matter if you just need to learn email or how to use a mouse. I have been a tutor for 23 years and I have taught Adult Basic Education for 12 years. I am still continuing my education to receive a Masters degree and plan to get my PhD. I work for a community college and have done advising, enrollment, testing, phone directory, and student sevices. I have attended many professional development workshops on education.
Critical thinking skills and untraditional ways are what I focus on. However the way someone learns, I will try to set the individual up to show how they learn and work with them. While I was going to school I became a student tutor in the areas of calculus, physics and chemistry. Most were just help with the basic calculations and the understanding of simple fundamentals.
My teaching style is very unique because I tend to simplify the understanding process of mathematical analysis. I feel that I can teach anyone from 1st grade up to the college level. But I never do the problems for the student. Instead, I guide them through the problem so the student will learn first hand how to solve calculations step by step.
