A Little Bit About Me...

Both of my parents were teachers and I find myself sharing my knowledge with anyone who seems to need it. I have instructed the ladies in my craft group, answered questions posted online, and tried to instill some basic computer upkeep knowledge in the people who've asked me for help with their personal computers. A couple of hours of preparation beforehand can make the difference between a tedious, unproductive experience and one that encourages the student and makes the excited about learning. I try to help with sticking points and not to lecture. I started off college at Mohawk Valley Community College and earned a Liberal Arts and Science degree. I feel that all college students should be well rounded and should take a wide variety of courses. I then enrolled at Utica College to finish my BS degree. Over those two years, I took 18 science courses and most of them were accompanied by labs. It was stressful and difficult but it was something I was determined to complete.
