A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with companies whose major focus was to increase math and science scores. I have found visual aids are an effective way to teach math and other subjects. Because my educational background is mathematically and science based, most of my tutoring experiences are in the subjects of math and science. However, I do have experience tutoring students in all subjects. In addition to this, I have over 2 years of experience in teaching GED level classes. I have worked with adults of all ages and have helped students obtain their GED. My experience as an instructor was with Wiregrass Technical College (formerly Valdosta Technical College). During my tenure I was able to help 5 of 12 students obtain their GED and/or pass 3 out of 5 subject areas. I provided group and individual tutoring and found both instruction methods rewarding.
