My comments on tutoring Typing Skills : I am very comfortable with the material.

I have been a tutor at UCA for about 2 years. I tutor mainly in math but I have experience with other subjects. I am a computer science major. I know how to use computer languages like Python, C++, HTML, and Assembly Language. I know how to use most of the Microsoft Office programs which include Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, and Word. I have a little experience with Access but I am not a pro in it.

I consider myself a facilitator, not an authoritarian. I ascribe to the principles set forth by Malcolm Knowels and Benjamin Bloom. I rely on the strength and motivation of the student. I hesitate to call myself "teacher." I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. I also received a minor in Interdisciplinary studies through the Honor's College at UCA. I wrote several different research papers in Psychology, excelled in critical thinking and symbolic logic courses in philosophy, and also completed an undergraduate thesis through the Honor's college.
