I believe that when you are teaching, you shouldn't simply teaching a subject, you need to teach how to learn. I don't want to hand my students a list of rules, vocabulary and answers to memorize. What strikes me most as I look back at my education is how much of an impact a teacher can have when they make their subject relevant to their students.
