MBA Grad looking for side job

Upon completion of my two year degree I worked briefly for an accountant before furthering my education at Mississippi College. A Little Bit About Me...

I have served as a substitute teacher in Hayward, CA for 1 1/2 years. I worked as a tutor for Learning & Loving It in San Jose, CA for 3 years. I served as a tutor and teacher of adult education in Loganville, GA for 1 year. I am currently on the substitute teacher roster for the Vicksburg School District, and I have been so for two years.
I first introduce myself and get to know a little about the student I am tutoring. Then, I establish a baseline of what they have learned so that I can direct my attention to their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, I get into the material with the student and show them how and why the material is important and applicable in the world in which we live.

I have a love for education. This is my gift by teaching others what I have been taught throughout my educational life as well as professional life. I am easy going, patient and considerate of others. I don't beleieve in the verbage "slow learners", we all can learn if taught appropriately. I graduated cum laude from Jackson State University. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in mass comm/english literature.
