A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently the program counselor for a Federal Grant through the Department of Education. My role as counselor is centered on individuals with various skills and abilities who are working to gain basic community and employment related skills. My educational background consists of an Associates of Art degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services. It is the combination of my education, work experience, and patient/empathetic personality that allows me to create a comfortable, fun, and goal focused learning environment. I have been able to teach individuals through a combination of verbal, visual, and hands-on learning.

As a twenty year veteran of the advertising agency business, I have had significant training and experience in communication skills. I have spent the past several years running a media planning business from my home, using the flexibility this arrangement allowed to complete my Masters Degree.
