I graduated high school in the International Baccalaureate program with a 4.5 gpa and 30 college credits. I then went on to the University of Colorado starting out as a sophomore. I graduated 3 years later with a degree in Integrative Physiology. I have an extensive background in science and math. While at CU I was able to tutor children through a program called Reading Buddies where I would meet every week with them every week and read to them in English. These were the main classes I taught, but I also did Spanish 1, ecology, and food science/nutrition. I also tutored some high school students in all subjects but mostly math and science.
I love helping people. I believe that no one is stupid just some people are better in some areas than other people. I enjoy helping people learn because I love seeing the "light bulb click on above their head" when they finally grasp a concept.
