I am a firm believer that strict memorization does not allow the student to broaden their ability to solve problems of various flavors. I encourage the student to understand the concepts to avoid tedious memorization. Additionally I believe children learn best in an environment where they do not feel intimidated or nervous. I believe by working closely with the student and making learning fun I can help the student avoid becoming discouraged. This helps to prevent the chain reaction of test failures. It also prevents the student from giving up on the subject.

My 20 years in education includes teaching at various colleges and high schools providing instruction in Statistics, Physics, Calculus and College Algebra. One of my more gratifying experiences was as a Learning Center Instructor working one-on-one with students in a wide variety of subjects.
