Vocals is one of my top subjects!

I use a lay back positive reinforcement teaching style. I try to figure out things the student likes and relate it to the subject. My main goal is to get the student to like the subject and enjoy learning about it, for if the student enjoys a subject it will be easier for them to learn.
I Graduated from Harrison high school in 2011, and I am currently working to get my bachelors in biology at Kennesaw State University. I have been tutoring neighbors in science, math, and vocals since my sophomore year of high school. I have been given many small awards by my school teachers in Science, math, and Vocals.

I believe that science has a undeserved reputation for difficulty as a subject that is directly related to the inability of many teachers to "break it down". Science can seem to be like a foreign language to the uninitiated, but at its essence science is simply a way of thinking about the world and asking questions. Several themes appear again and again in concepts that on the surface may seem unrelated and it is recognizing these themes that is the key to success in building knowledge and confidence. For the past five years, I have been teaching high school art. I have taught classes in basic art, drawing, painting, photography and ceramics. I have extensive experience with classroom and diversity management and coaching as well. Aside from the classroom, I have also become an accomplished painter, specializing in portraits in oil.
