Math and Science Tutoring

In terms of online tutoring. I make use of a headset microphone and a touch tablet. As well as many free online applications, such as a whiteboard, Skype, and educational resources. During session I prefer to use the course work and text assigned to the student. Doing so allows for the structure of our sessions to easily mesh with those of the course.

Previously to becoming a teacher I worked in industry as a project manager or assistant for different companies, using Spanish occasionally. In 2005 I obtained a degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish and in 2009 obtained a masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked with children of normal intelligence and what cognitive disabilities. Although my degrees are not directly related to math, I use mathmatical concepts daily. I bring to the table the ability to use math terms in a day to day experience, rather than just in a classroom setting.
