My comments on tutoring Special Education : Learning Behavior Specialist classes taken and passed.

I like to teach the student, which means I tailor lessons/activities and supplemental materials to the student. The goal is to see where the student, where the student needs to be, and find the road that will merge the two in the most beneficial way for the student.
As a certified teacher, I have several hundred hours in a classroom with field experience and student teaching. I am familiar with state and Common Core standards, classroom lingo, and classroom/school procedures. I truly enjoy helping children reach their full potential. I believe that children who don't understand a subject just haven't had it explained to them in their way of learning and I believe I can find their way. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a tenured teacher at a local public high school. I have a BA in Education, MA in Gifted Education, and an MA in Educational Administration.
