I took Spanish in high school and have a Minor in Spanish from the University of South Dakota. I have several years of experience working individually with both adults and children as a tutor. I have worked with students of all ability levels and can tailor my tutoring to meet the specific needs of each student. During my time at the University of Missouri-Columbia, I earned two degrees: a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Theater. I work well with children of all ages and am considerably patient, easygoing, although stern as well with my students. My teaching style consists of visual illustrations mixed with a lecture or teaching session. Through my experiences at USD I have determined that the amalgamation of these two styles produce more stimulating teachings as well as information retention being maximized as well.
