I love teaching and working with children. My goal is to successfully help students learn in any way possible. I know every student learns differently and I am aware of the adaptations needed to fit each students individual needs. I believe all children can and want to learn, you just have to meet them on the right level. I am currently a senior Elementary Education major at Wichita State University. I graduated from Cowley County College with an Associates Degree in Elementary Education. I am currently a para for my second year and pre-student teaching.

I love working with children and believe every child can not only learn, but enjoy learning. I like making learning fun. Some obstacles in learning are based on one's feelings about learning or about a particular subject. Sometimes asking the right questions can unblock the obstacle, leading to a better awareness of one’s abilities and knowledge. I have helped students find their inner strength and a better self awareness of what it takes for them to succeed. I have a license in Elementary Education with an endorsement in middle school math. I am currently attending WSU for a Masters in Counseling. I have been working for the Wichita Public Schools since 2006. I have always enjoyed teasing and using humor in teaching all ages of student.
