A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that teaching is not knowing the answers, but understanding how to get to the answers. I am a very organized and patient tutor and have great respect for my students. I believe that with the right tools, any child can learn and improve their understanding. I know no two students learn in quite the same way, and I am able to adjust my teaching methods to fit a child's needs.
I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. My main interests and degree lie in medical sciences. A Little Bit About Me...

My first two years were devoted to an education degree. I gained experience in tutoring, including assisting elementary students and mentoring a group of advanced math students. I was actually accepted into the school of education, and in the process performed 30 hours of classroom observations and assisting teachers at the high school and middle school level. During my remaining two years I private tutored students in algebra, college algebra, calculus, and statistics. I have always enjoyed teaching. I love it when students have that moment when they finally get what you have been teaching them. I have taught a wide range of students, from Kindergarten thru 60 year-olds returning to college.
