I worked in the education field for over 10 years. Teaching elementary students. English, math,reading, spelling, science , and history. I myself have three sons who I helped through school. They each did very well. I have taken many classes on teaching. I have helped many person to learn English.
Depends on student. Use visual as well as hard copy. Will to work with the student to determine the best way they learn. Will sit down with student and determine the best style of teaching for them.

My instructional experience includes over 230 credit hours of composition and language arts instruction, including creative writing, literary analysis and Shakespeare. However, most of the instruction has been focused on composition. A Little Bit About Me...

I studied Languages for four years at University. I was about to get a degree in English and Portuguese when I moved to the US. I taught for one year. I worked in 3 different schools, in all of them, the subject was English. I have no experience teaching Portuguese outside of college, but I am planning to find students to change that. I have good grammar and comprehension knowlege and also, I'm brazilian, so, in case of pronunciation and the rest, I'm good.
