Reading Comprehension Tutor Seeks New Learners!

Special Tutor/Teacher

I have taught school for 29 1/2 years in Special Education . My positions were in Preschool Special Needs, Elementary Special Needs, and High School Occupational Course of Study. I have taught in both SC and NC. I love teaching preschool -elementary students. I have always had a passion for teaching because both of my grandmothers and my mother were teachers. My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : I am certified teacher at the Master's level with certifications for early childhood, elementary, special education, ESL and reading specialist. I am trained in Orton Gillingham and the Wilson program.

I use a multi-sensory approach when teaching to meet the student's needs. I also incorporate lots of games and personal experience to make it fun and engaging.
