I have worked with children in a variety of settings for ten years. I worked in a preschool for 3 years and did an internship for four months as well as student teaching for sixteen weeks my senior year of college. I graduated Suma Cum Laude and then worked as a long term substitute in Roanoke City Schools. I then taught for one year in Roanoke City schools in a general education classroom. I am currently working as an instructional assistant.

I teach both face-to-face and online courses. In my face-to-face courses I usually start with a class discussion on the previous topic. I do this with a series of loaded questions meant to grab the students attention where I then work my way into the next lecture.
