A Little Bit About Me...

I have taken an Effective Teaching class at our local Community College. We learn all types of techniques for helping students to learn. Some students learns by hands on applications others through repetition. Still each person is unique and I believe all students can learn. There are all types of material available including resource found on the Internet to make learning more fun and without boundaries.
I have taken 18 hours of Math courses including Algebra, Calculus, Business Mathematics and Math Analysis. I have my undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting. I love to help students become over achievers. I discovered that my success is directly related to how I overcame my past challenges with math, particularly Algebra. Reflecting back on the years when I attended high school, I struggled with math. Once I was accepted to NC A&T, I realized that I had developed a fear of math and did not understand basic algebraic concepts.
