By allowing the students to do this, it allows me to see what might be giving them a hard time with the learning. Thus, I would be able to ask pertinent questions, that will allow me to show different ways around the troublesome areas, while giving the students a new way to learn the necessary material.
When working towards my Bachelor's I was able to achieve a dual BS in Accounting and Business Management. After working a few years, I decided to go into teaching. While doing this, I was able to assimilate my real life working experience, into the classroom. I have since obtained a second certification in Special Education.
