I have recently graduated from UCLA in June with a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. I have been tutoring my peers and students younger than me throughout my entire high school and college education, mostly in subjects related to math and science. When practicing homework problems I try to elaborate on them by showing them what they should look for before even starting the problem, what steps to take, and usually ask them a variation of the same problem. My first year of experience came in 2004 when a friend of me offered tutoring a high school student in English. During 2004-2005 I've revised his grammar and added to his vocabulary by giving him bunches of reading paragraphs which we went through the grammar points and vocabularies used.
