I really do not have a teaching style yet. A one on one setting is what I am used to. I am open to different teaching techniques depending on the help the child requires. The internet is available and has many different techniques to learning different subjects I can research as I see fit.
I have just received my BA in E-Business management with a minor in Criminal Justice. I have taught for a total of 11 years. I taught in Prince George's Public schools for 5 years, Hyde Leadership Public Charter School in DC for 1 year, Avon Park High School for 2 years, Hardee Junior High for 1 year, and Bill Duncan Opportunity Center (alternative school) for 2 years. I have a Bachelor's in Biology and certifications in Math (5-9), Biology (6-12), and Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum (5-9). I plan to also attain a certification in ESOL and Reading by the end of the year.I am also interested in getting two Master's, in Counseling and Nursing. I love seeing both youth and adults advance in their musical skills and can see the advantage young children gain with their eye/hand co-ordination and ability to quickly expand their reading and musical skills.
