My teaching style varies with skill level. Some children need reinforcement schedules while others just need help puting their foot in the right direction. I let my students know that learning is a team effort, instilling that they are not in this alone and that their success is exciting for myself as well. I graduated with a Biopsychology degree or otherwise known as Behavioral Neuroscience. Start with what the student knows and gradually into the new and unknown material. This way the student is guided seamlessly into the unknown using what he knows as a "bait". Math, and calculus for that matter, is best mastered by practice. As such, I prefer to guide the student into problem-solving immediately after the concepts are taught. This way misconceptions and erroneous interpretations are exposed through the errors made during the problem-solving.This goes to solidify the students overall learning experience an understanding.

I see teaching as a dialog between teacher and student and adjust the speed and depth of my teaching to best help the student succeed. Most importantly I want to the student to leave with a greater understanding of the subject than when they entered.
I taught recitation for Honors Differential Equations, Differential Equations, Calculus 3, Calculus 2 and Introduction to Computer Science as an undergraduate at Georgia Tech and physics and astronomy labs as a graduate student at the University of Tennessee.
