Right now I am helping out at Peterson Elementary School. The grade level that I am helping is kindergarten and I must say that I really do enjoy it. Last year I was helping out in Merced High School. The grade level that I was teaching was juniors and seniors the subject was Anatomy. My comments on tutoring Algebra III : Able to help with subject

I have had 22 years total of tutoring experience, worked for six different supplemental educational services tutoring providers, worked for three different online tutoring companies, and have eleven years of experience as an ESL Teacher. I believe in Minimalism. I tutor Math from the point of view that the shortest path is the best path but everyone learns differently and finding the right method for my students is one of my main goals when tutoring. I teach students multiple ways to solve a particular problems and they get to decide which method works best for them, hopefully its the simplest method. Public School class rooms have 30 plus students and only one instructor. The low instructor to student ratio makes it difficult for more then one method to be taught leaving some students behind. When students feel they don't understand, they become self conscience of their perceived lack of knowledge making them less confident in mathematics which leads to procrastination on their homework .
