I have a passion for people and education. I myself enjoy learning and sharing that passion with others. I love sharing my knowledge with students and encouraging them along the way. I believe that every individual has a learning style that must be discovered and utilized. Students can be visual, auditory or tactile learners, and often many students are a combination of each learning style. As a student at Oklahoma State University, I have been fortunate enough to study a vast and varied curriculum. Although I am not an official graduate of OSU, I essentially have earned all the credentials to hold a B.S. in Economics, and next spring I will graduate with a second B.S. in Mathematics. I have spent the past two years as a tutor at OSU, primarily focusing on Chemistry (General through Organic) as well as Mathematics (all levels up to Calculus, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra). A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching to me is a matter of discovering those small differences in learning style that students may not recognize and having the flexibility to offer a variety of paths to understanding. The goal is conveyance of a particular skill set through whatever means available willingness to offer different approaches of teaching tailored to a particular student's strengths and weaknesses. My goal is to ease students into unfamiliar territories with the expectation of success. I find this especially true with mathematics as many are frustrated with rote teaching mechanisms thus fostering an expectation of failure.
