I believe that students can educate teachers just as well as teachers can educate students. I try to remain on-the-level with students in order to make them comfortable. I am very animated; yet, at the same time, I know how to get my information across. I try to be a fun and creative person, and I strive to get that across to students.
As a writer, I have a great passion for the English language. I have experience in both literature and writing through my Bachelor's degree. I am currently an MA candidate in a Creative Writing program. As an undergraduate, I minored in Studio Art. I have been a church organist for the last 8 years. I have played the organ for 17 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a strong business background, with an MBA, CPA, and CIA. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University.
While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it. As an example, in order to learn business skills, students need to practice the skills and understand their relevance in the real world.

My goal as a tutor is not to simply give children the answers they need to finish homework assignments. I encourage them to learn independently and strive to achieve their educational goals.
