A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been interested in helping students like me who struggle in the math and science courses. As such, I have started tutoring during my high school days and armed with several years of experience, I intend to help more and more students as I go onwards to getting my Master's degree in Microbiology. As a trainer and coach, I work with diverse groups (age, background, education, etc.) and utilize varied styles to meet the needs of the participants. A Little Bit About Me...

Every student can learn with motivation. Most of my classes were self-paced, and I had great success in motivating students of all types. My most recent position was teaching science to at-risk high school students who averaged 4th grade levels in reading and math. Every participating student earned credits in science, a first for most of them. My interest in them as individuals and willingness to give each one of them my attention, then let them take charge of their own learning, paid off in results of which I'm very proud. My teaching style is Socratic in method. I have learned a large variety of techniques to help teach some of the most basic to the most advanced concepts to a large audience of students.
